COMPERES/MASTER OF CEREMONIES GUIDELINES

(This set of guidelines has been prepared by the PhilFiesta Program Committee to ensure the smooth flow of operation of the two-day program of the annual Philippine Fiesta of Victoria ).

THE COMPERE/MC should

1. Be oriented by the Philippine Fiesta Entertainment Committee before the presentation in order to be aware of the whole scenario of the program.
2. Have a copy of the PROGRAMME a WEEK BEFORE the event.
3. Know the artistic background of the performer/s and their number/s. The Entertainment Committee will provide this.
4. Be at the VENUE an HOUR before the program.
5. Always be IN COMMUNICATION with the STAGE MANAGERS just in case there are changes in the program.
6. ALLOCATE the INTRODUCTION time of no more than 1 MINUTE per PERFORMER(s).
7. Always be aware of the time constraints (no long introduction. Unnecessary comments, inappropriate jokes, advertisements and community announcement
8. Refer to the Stage Manager any announcement unless authorized by the Management Committee.
9. Keep the program alive, positive, enjoyable and well-phased and always have an amiable, cheerful and pleasing disposition.
10. For any issues contact the Program Committee .
11. Get your admission pass after orientation. This is non-transferable and will be collected upon your entry at the main admission gate.
12. Collect your food and drink voucher from the Associate Program Coordinator.
