Once again, this time of the season has come to celebrate another momentous event among Filipinos living in Victoria. This years occasion commemorates the many achievements of Filipino expatriates along with their families that merge with Australian culture and society.

This years theme was aptly named "Akbayan". meaning arm-in-arm. A brotherhood
among clans that renders aid and support among the community. A harmonious relationship that stems from unity and cooperation within the fabric of Filipino-Australian organisation. It is within this context that we enjoin you to participate in our annual Fiesta
Day to be held on the 24th and 25th of November 2007 at the Philippine Community
Centre in Laverton

This celebration marks the 25th year of the Fiesta event and is continuously growing with
the ever support of local associations in promoting this affair. Like in the past , the
gathering features the traditional showcase of cultural activities, celebrities from the Philippines courtesy of ABS-CBN and the ever popular feast of local cuisine. Savouring the atmosphere not only delivers old time traditions but also brings about the camaraderie and the renewal of friendship among compatriots.
