Rationale

The program should showcase the culture of the Filipinos, its migrants' accomplishments in the area of music, song, dance and entertainment. It should also show the fusion of diversified musical and choreographic skills of the new generations of Australian-Filipinos and their development along these fields. Its main objective is to share with the mainstream Victorian and guests from other states the Filipino culture as a salient contribution to the Australian multicultural society.

The program should have a happy balance of the old and the new. The ethno-cultural and the modern. The Filipino and the mainstream, in order cater to every mood, interest and motivation of visitors who will attend the Fiesta.

The committee should bear in mind that the program is structured not just to entertain but to share, inform and educate the audiences.
