This years Philippine Fiesta’s theme is "Kabalikat sa pangangalaga ng Kalikasan at  kapaligiran", or in English: "In support of the conservation of nature and the environment".

Tulung-tulong tayo sa ikauunlad nang ating kapaligiran. Isang diwa, iba-ibang wika, isang gawa.

Directions & Parking:

Travelling to the Fiesta by train is easy and convenient.  Laverton Railway Station (on the Werribee Line) is only a few minutes walk away - click here for map, click here for train timetables  

Driving to the Fiesta from the city , use the Westgate Freeway & Princes Freeway.  Exit at Koroit Creek Rd and turn right to cross the Freeway.  Then turn left on Fitzgerald Road, then left on Bladin St.  Coming from Geelong, exit at Fitzgerald Road and turn left, then left on Bladin St.  Click here for map.

Onsite parking during the Fiesta is strictly limited to Car Park Pass holders. 

Free public parking is available around Laverton Railway Station – on Maher Rd and also Railway Ave. More free public parking is available at Laverton Secondary College on Bladin St and at the Laverton Pool on Jennings St

Note that access to the streets around the Fiesta site is restricted to residents only, with drop-off permitted via Ulm St only. There is no parking permitted at McCormick Park due to construction works.

1) Celebrity Guest Stars from the Philippines confirmed

2) Karaoke competition - Final Saturday November 29

New in 2008, the Fiesta will include a Karaoke competition, with the Final to be held on Saturday November 29 at the Fiesta. 3) Ati-Atihan competition - Sunday November 30

Also new in 2008, the Fiesta will hold an exciting Ati-Atihan competition on Sunday November 30. First prize is $2,000, Second prize $1,000 and Third prize $500 - thanks to our Major Sponsor: Vostro Institute of Training Australia: www.vostroinstitute.com.au .

We encourage all community groups and organisations to get involved in this demonstration of our unique Filipino culture - there are still some spots available. 4) Beauty & Charity Quest

This year’s Beauty & Charity Quest 2008 competition will be placed on hold due to the preparations for the Grand Reunion to be held next year on 31 Jan 2009.
